it’s better to give….

than to receive.  We’ve really been talking a lot with Brady about giving to other people and about the true meaning behind Christmas.  This is challenging with a little one…especially with all the santa hype…but we’re working on it!  So before thanksgiving we happened to be at the mall for a quick errand and Brady saw Build a Bear.  He decided that his brudder and sister needed a bear.  So, Monday after we met Santa we went to build a bear so he could make a bear for the K’s to give them for Christmas!!  He was so excited and took a lot of time picking out their outfits and making sure they were perfect!!

ta-da!! We have a football player and a cheerleader…and one very proud big brother!

keeping them under the tree has been the hard part.  He’s a little like his momma…he wants to give them their bears now!!

I love his little heart and that he wants to get things for his brudder and sister!!  And of course the lesson was giving so he didn’t get one this trip…and he didn’t complain at all.  Although I know he’ll be excited when he gets to make one on his own!
