Cousin Camp 2011

 

A couple of weeks ago we had the Cole Clan over for a little cousin fun time!!  Aunt Julie brought the kids over, they played for a while and then Aunt Julie went home…that’s right we had 6 kids under one roof!  I have to admit I was a little nervous, but they did GREAT!  We took them to eat (yes we took 6 kids to a restaurant by ourselves) and let me tell you we got some funny looks.  One guy was even brave enough to ask how many of them were actually mine!  We ate, played in the splash fountain and then came home .  We made a pallet for the 3 older kids in the playroom and they watched a movie and went right to sleep!

At the end of May Brady took swim lesson’s at the Y.  Jeff has done a great job teaching Brady how to swim but we decided it was time for some formal lessons!  Brady did great and his teachers said he was a great listener….really?

Crazy Hair Day

Brady and I went to VBS at our church last week.  We had a blast at our Son Surf Beach Blast!  Thursday was Crazy Hair day and of course the Brewer’s had to participate!!!  Brady was so excited/shocked that I was letting him color his hair orange, green  and blue!!!

I have SO much to catch up on.  I’ve definitely been a slacker lately, but we’re enjoying every minute of our summer around here which leaves little time for blogging!!  Until I can catch up I’ll leave you with some pictures!!

We had a mini session with Sabrina about a week and a half ago.  She’s working on her in studio portfolio and the brewer babies never turn down a chance to model!!  I am so in love with how they turned out!  I love the colors…and yes I’m aware Karsyn’s outfit is a bit over the top!  That’s the way I like it!!

God Bless the Broken Road….

5 years ago today I married my best friend!!  Our first dance was to Rascal Flatts “God Bless the Broken Road” .  Our road definitely hasn’t been as smooth as we once  imagined, but God has certainly  blessed that road beyond measure!!!  The past, 5 years have been filled with joy, happiness, sorrow, grieving, pain, laughter, new beginnings, and most importantly LOVE!  We’ve run the gamut on emotions and had our share of mountains and valleys, but we’ve walked through it all hand in hand.  I love that I get to experience every day with my best friend.  Someone I admire, appreciate and laugh with (and at)!  Jeff, I love you and am so thankful you said I do 5 years ago today!!  I can’t wait to spend the next 100 years with you and to see how God continues to bless our broken road!

Grandpa and Grandma Nan invited us down to Galveston for a “pool party” at their country club.  The kids had a blast in the pool and we topped it off with some excellent food from the massive buffet!!  It was a nice relaxing day and we had 3 tired babies for the car ride home!  Thanks for having us Grandpa and Grandma Nan!

a popsicle to help beat this Texas heat!!  Last weekend Brady and Will were busy outside all afternoon!!!  What better way to top off your day than a popsicle!!  The babies decided they would join them!  This might become a regular part of our summer routine!!

Karsyn started holding her own bottle/sippy!!!!  Such a big girl and such a HELP to a mommy that has to keep a constant eye on a certain twin brother that is in to EVERYTHING!
