Wild Weekend

Brady was a busy boy last weekend!  On Friday we went to the Houstonian (Grandpa and Grandma Nan’s club) to swim.  They have an amazing pool for kids.  It has a beach entry that is perfect for Mr. Independent, and a slide that Brady LOVED!  We must have been at the pool for at least 3 hours and Brady loved every minute of it! 

On Sunday, mommy and daddy had an appointment so Grandpa and Grandma Nan were nice enough to babysit Brady!  They went to the park and then back to the pool.  Needless to say Brady had a blast spending fathers day with Grandpa and Grandma Nan.  Thank you guys for making Brady’s weekend so special!  I hijacked these pictures from Nan and some of them are duplicated on her blog, but here you go!!

Cousin Camp ‘09

Last night we had our first annual Cousin Camp!!  Jacob and Hannah came over and spent the night with Brady!  His first official sleepover!!  Aunt Kim/Mommy and Uncle Jeff/Daddy are dragging a little this morning…..sleep, evidently, wasn’t high on the list of things to do last night!!  We had a great time.  It’s so fun to watch these kiddo’s play and interact.  I’m so glad they get to grow up together! 

Here’s a run down of events for Cousin Camp ‘09!!

Family Vacation!

Jeff is teaching summer school this summer and has to start tomorrow. SO we decided to take advantage of Grandma’s beach house once again to get away and spend a little time as a family!  We had a great time playing in the sand and sun and even snuck over to the country club to take advantage of their swimming pool!

The Simonds came down one morning to play.  For some reason I didn’t take many pictures, but here’s one of the boys running in the sand.

Daddy and Brady made a sand castle village!!!  I don’t know if Brady had a better time building or knocking down the castles!

The kiddie pool at Grandpa and Grandma Nan’s country club was a big hit!  Just the right size for the little man!

Thanks Grandma for loaning us your beach house, and thank you Grandpa and Grandma Nan for use of the pool!  Our mini vacation before daddy starts work was very relaxing!!!

Brady loves being in the water but does not love floaties or being held…Mr. Independent!!  So we found the “body suit” with a built in life vest!!  The pillows were nice enough to let us use their pool to break in the new suit!  Look how stinkin cute he looks!!!

School’s Out for Summer

We’re done!!  Time to spend 2 complete months with my little man!!!  I’m so excited and ready for a fun filled summer!  We decided to celebrate this afternoon in true “summer” fashion!!!
