I often hear my friends complain about their doctors. Whether it be their pediatrician, family practice, or OB…there’s always stories of deliveries/diagnosis going terribly wrong and of awful bedside manners and etc. As I listen I feel so blessed. It’s no secret that I LOVE our pediatrician, but my pediatrician was recommended to me by my equally amazing OB! Most of you know that my pregnancy with Brady was pretty high maintenance. I was on bedrest for 10 weeks and ran the gamut on pregnancy induced conditions for 8 months! And while I know she has and had a TON of other patients I always felt so important while in her office. I love having Doctors that don’t make me feel rushed and seem to genuinely care about my well being. Dr. Wynne has such a sweet, calming spirit. I remember telling my sister one time that when Dr. Wynne called to tell me I had to be on bedrest I seriously though she was going to cry! So invested and so caring!
When the twins were born she was in the NICU all the time checking on them and would call to get updates. When they moved to TCH I gave her the blog address so she could read updates. At my last appointment she came in and shared the she and her two boys prayed for the Brewer babies every night when they said their prayers! How awesome is she?!?
Anyway, long story short……on the babies birthday she wasn’t in her office and we couldn’t stop to say hi. She wanted to meet them so badly that we arranged to have a play date this weekend!!!! It was so fun to see her and the babies, of course, were very excited to meet her!! She brought her boys and they had a great time playing with Brady and Jeff!
What a fun experience that I’m sure most people don’t have. God truly blessed me as he placed such caring physicians in my path. Just a reminder that EVERY detail is planned and orchestrated….and I’m so thankful!!
Thank you Dr. Wynne for caring so much for my family!
since needless to say we didn’t have the fun “after delivery picture with babies” here they are 1 year later!!!!
