Where's Brady?

Little Brady is getting very sneaky! He tried to play hide and seek with Mommy and Daddy this morning!

This is how I put Brady down to sleep after his 1 o'clock feeding last night.......
cute huh? All snug as a bug in his sleep positioner. Well............

When he began fussing at 4, this is what I found......
hmmmm.........where's Brady?

Well there he is completely out of his sleep positioner, turned sideways, hiding under the changing table.....

and VERY unhappy!!!!

Guess we won't be needing that sleep positioner anymore!!

Here are a few more pictures from the past few days. We've been taking advantage of our last few days together before mommy goes back to work. Today we (okay mommy) decided it would be fun to go to the strand and do a little shopping!! We peeked into a few shops and then had lunch with Ms. Natili at the Star Drug Store! Lunch was great and we had a fun time hanging out together!

Brady wore his first pair of overalls for the occasion...what a cutie!
Can't you see how excited he is!

This is Brady talking to Daddy! When Daddy gets home from work everyday, they like to sit and chat about how their day was! Brady knows all about what lessons Daddy teaches and what kids act up all that fun stuff, and Daddy knows all about Brady's naps, bottles, and all the fun things he and mommy do!!!!

DAD.....not on the camera!

These are my new friends Abbie and Anna Claire. Mommy's friend Miss Jana brought them over for a play date....we had a lot of fun!

This Elmo guy is pretty cool!

Playing on the floor with Cousin Hannah HELP.....she's gonna get me!Playing on the floor is hard work....let's rest for just a minute!
Nana and Grandanny with the two grandchildren willing to have their picture taken! (The two year old wasn't quite as cooperative!)

While in Dallas I got to meet my other cousins Luke and Zach! We had a great visit with the boys and Uncle Jason and Aunt Melissa!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood

Sunday was a GORGEOUS day in Pearland, so we decided to take a family walk. Yes this included the dogs. Dudley was very protective of Brady - he would walk right by the stroller as if to guard it! After our walk we hung out in the front yard....I think Brady enjoyed it and made himself comfortable...what do you think?

kick back and relax
a stroller with a built in foot rest......every kid should have one of these!
Look at that Dimple - thank you Grandanny...there will be no keeping the girls away with these!!
Dudley watching over the little guy....isn't he a good big brother?!
Brady took his first trip to Hobby Lobby! Mommy gave a little pep talk before we left! Target and Hobby Lobby - 2 places every infant should visit!!!!
Check out his little shorts :)
Swinging seems to be Brady's favorite pasttime these days! We need to buy stock in D batteries!!

Happy Birthday Jacob!

Brady is 1 month old!! And what an eventful month it's been (especially considering his actual due date was Friday!)
We had a busy week with the beginning of football season and Jacob's 2nd birthday party, but Brady handled it all in stride! Mommy is beginning to get nervous about going back to work.....so everyone start saying their prayers -
October 1st is D-day!
Enjoy the pictures, and I tried my first video upload so we'll see how it goes!

Brady went to his first birthday party on Saturday!! Jacob turned 2!! He had a Curious George party and Brady had a blast can't you tell?!?

Daddy and Brady were so excited about the beginning of football season last Sunday. As you can tell, they were really intrigued by the Texans game - it was a real nail biter!

Every 4 week old should have stone washed cargo jeans right?!?!

Brady likes playing dress up now! Look at that smile!

Put me in Coach! Brady loves the outfit he got from his new friend Trenton!

Now I lay me down to sleep....is this the right way to hold my hands mom?

Question Brady? He is very good at raising his hand when he wants to speak.....what a great teachers kid!!

Brady's cute friend Avery came over to see him, and decided to sing him a song! The song (in case you can't hear it!) is hush little baby....pay close attention to what Avery is going to bring him if his "mockingbird don't sing"! (P.S. Avery is the little one!)

Lessons Learned

Lesson #1
When your baby spits up and messes up one outfit, do not carry the baby with you to the open drawer to pick out a new outfit. When he then projectile vomits into the open drawer, you have nothing left to dress him in.

Lesson #2
Never go shopping with just a new mom and a grandmother. The valid justifications that the two of you came up with in the store for the $100 of new clothes for your 3 week old NEVER sound as logical when recounting them later for dad :)

Lesson #3
When called into the room from bottle washing, your wife NEVER finds the fact that your son is urinating on his own face as funny as you obviously do. Furthermore, justifying it by saying that he's giving himself a "golden shower" while you laugh hysterically doesn't make it ANY funnier.

Obviously it's been an eventful week, but we're hanging in there!! Brady is now eating 4 ounces every 2 to 3 hours...so mommy stays busy just trying to keep up!!!

Enjoy the pics!

This is our "clear" bath with soap following our "golden shower"

Great here we go again with that camera

Seriously, how cute are all those clothes going to look on this kid!

Draft Day

Daddy is in a fantasy football league and Sunday was his "draft". So, he and Brady spent the afternoon discussing strategy!

Daddy, why don't you just take me with you to the draft?
I think I could really help
You want to draft who??? Are you crazy?

Brady Quinn? He sounds like a cool guy!
Good Luck Daddy....don't wake me when you get home
Daddy leaves and Mommy plays dress up
I have to admit I do look pretty handsome!
Little Man in big boy clothes!!

Aunt Julie showed me how to sleep!

The trick is to get your bottom as high in the air as you possibly can!
