another one done

Brady had a  graduation/award ceremony for his preschool last week!  Some of the kids will be going to Kindergarten so they graduated and the others celebrated their year and the fact they get to come back!  Brady had so much fun at preschool this year and I really can’t say enough about Linda and the amazing program she’s built!  She recruits great students and does a great job providing a fun environment for these kiddo’s to learn in.

Brady got the show and tell award…which is quite comical considering many days I forgot it was show and tell and had to find things in my office for him to take!!!  May 18 014

The teachers led them through their normal morning routine for the parents to see and then they sang a few of their favorite songs from the year.

family day

Sunday’s are notoriously family days at the Brewer house!  Sunday before last we took advantage of some great weather and spent most of the day outside!  We busted out the slip n slide and even set up the pool at the foot of the slide!  HOURS of entertainment!!

We were in the back yard…swimsuits optional…for babies!!! May 18 044

sweet Karsyn relaxing in the shade!  She wasn’t interested in the water….and considering she has her mothers fair skin we opted for no sun!!  And yes I’m aware that all my k-town girls are picturing the spring break trip of ‘94 where I might have been a little sunburned……stop laughing.

mothers day treat

Brady’s class had a special breakfast for the mommy’s!!  It was such a treat to have breakfast with my little man!  Their teachers served us fruit, muffins, and pie (quiche) and there were lots of goodies waiting on the tables for us as we sat down!

Just a not so cute pic of me and the kids on mothers day…please excuse my hair and pay attention only to my kids and the cute mothers day present they made me!!

little builder

The first Saturday of every month, Home Depot offers a free building class for kids!  They have all the materials and tools out for them and they show the kids how to build something different every month.  I don’t know who was more excited to find out home depot did this, Brady or Jeff!!!  Jeff loves to do anything involving tools, so he was fired up to share this with Brady.  He was even more fired up to find out that Lowes does this same thing…and the times are staggered….so yes, next month the plan is to hit home depot and then hit lowes on the way home!!  Good thing Brady loves this!!

Happy Birthday Daddy

Wednesday was Daddy’s 29th birthday!! We won’t say how many 29th birthday’s he celebrated….but this one sure was fun!!!  We started our day off as usual with homemade birthday waffles!!  Unfortunately his birthday was on a workday so the birthday waffles were a little rushed, but they were still yummy!  After work, my little helpers and I made daddy cupcakes and his favorite dinner, chicken parmesan!

I had the best helpers in the world!
