I’m sure most of you have checked Julie’s blog and know that Elizabeth, formerly known as baby cole #3 made her debut yesterday.  BUT being the good aunt that I am I can’t let her debut go un-noted on my blog!!!  So her a re a few pics of my precious new niece!  We can’t wait to introduce her to Brady and can’t wait to see how Brady adjusts to no longer being the baby of the crew!!  This might be a hard adjustment!!!

As I’ve mentioned before, Jeff is coaching girls soccer this year for our high school.  The head coach went on maternity leave a week before district started, so Jeff’s been acting as the head coach this season.  They finished district in 3rd place and have won their first two play-off games!  This is a HUGE accomplishment and Brady and I are so proud of daddy!!!  The girls (led by daddy!) play again Tuesday at 6:00 against one of our district rivals…so GOOD LUCK DADDY!!!  WE LOVE YOU!!

Stay tuned for an update…we’ve been pretty busy lately with soccer and fighting off colds and ear infections and strep throat…but mommy managed to snap a few pictures here and there!  Now if only I had the time to get them off my camera!!

Boot Scoot –n- Boogie!

On Thursday we loaded up and headed to the Livestock Show at the Rodeo.  They have a great area for kids called Agventure.  There’s a petting zoo,pony rides and all sorts of fun activities.  We met up with Grandma Nan as well as the Cooper, Trenton, Margot and their mommies and daddys!!  Brady was unfortunately a little unsure of the animals in the petting zoo, but we had a great time!

The boys (and Margot) stood and stared at the pony rides for a good 15 minutes.  Quite impressive for 1 1/2 and 2 year olds!!

The highlight of the day….roasted corn on the cob!!!  yummmmmm!

We had a time.  Thanks grandma Nan for joining us to make our day even more special!!!!

I bet you guys thought I’d run out of songs for blog titles!!! 

I noticed a couple of weeks ago that a lot of picture studios do pictures with live bunnies for Easter…and they cost hundreds of dollars.  That’s when the wheels started turning!  You see my friend Amy has a pet bunny!  PERFECT!  Amy was nice enough to bring Cadbury (how cute is that for a bunny name?!?!) to a park in the area that has gorgeous flowers and waterfalls for picture time with Brady and his girlfriend Margot!!!

Some of the pictures turned out better than others, but we had a blast posing the kids, and of course chasing Brady around when he ran!  Cadbury was awesome and let the kids pull on her and pet her the whole morning!  Thanks Ms. Amy and Cadbury for letting us take advantage of a perfect situation!!  And Ms Stacy and Margot thanks for joining us!!

Spring Break Cousin Style!

On Monday – i know I’m out of order- Daddy decided to show off his smoking skills and smoke some chickens.  Nana, Aunt Julie, Uncle Matt, Jacob, and Hannah came down to play and have dinner.   Always a treat to have the cousins together!!!

Spring Break Fun!!!!!

I love being a teacher and having spring break off (and summers of course!)  We’ve had a fun week! On Tuesday Shannon and I decided to take the boys to the chidren’s museum.The boys had a good time playing in the new tot spot and checking out some of the other “areas”!

On Wednesday the Pillows and the Brewers hosted a crawfish boil at our house.  We had a great time hanging out with our friends and watching the kids play!  And after the kids went to bed I’m pretty sure some money exchanged hands in a friendly game of poker!!!
