I don’t think anyone will ever question who this babies daddy is!!
I love that my rotten mess is the spitting image of his daddy! Let’s just hope that his childhood rottenness turns it to sweetness as an adult…just like his daddy!

To end our spring break, we went to Froberg Farms to do our annual strawberry picking! It was a little muddy from all the recent rain, but we finally found some good ones and came home with quite a load!
Brady showing Kaden which strawberries you were supposed to pick
Kaden was ready….he got his bucket
got it ready….
found the best one….
oops…we missed the put it in the bucket step!
Karsyn helping daddy find the perfect berry
all done!
after picking berries we came home, made dinner that of course included strawberries and had a picnic outside!
sweet brothers!
well….semi sweet
who me?
what a fun family day and night!
Over spring break we invited Grandma over and headed to the Bayou Wildlife Park in Dickinson. We took Brady once when he was younger and were excited to experience it again, this time with the twins! The load you up in a “tram”, you get (buy) buckets of food and the animals come up and eat out of your buckets! We had a blast!
Brady ready to go!
Waiting for the ride to start
see that look? That “I know I’m not supposed to be touching this but I’m going to do it any way” look…
love this kid!
The princes not sure about all this
feeding an ostrich
The princess pooped out! And I don’t think daddy minded too much!
I was kind of worried about how Kaden would react to all the animals coming up close….he was a pro!
took handfuls of food and threw it without hesitation….whether there were animals around or not!
didn’t bat an eyelash when the ostrich came up…in fact he pelted him with food…oops!
bring it on zebra!
wait did you say zebra? It’s my favorite color!
Brady was super pumped that the camel chose his bucket to eat out of !
After the tram ride we got to ride pony’s!
Brady – an old pro
Think Kaden enjoyed his ride!
Even sweet sister got to take him for a spin!
At the petting zoo
kids stare down!
Oh what I would have given to pet a deer as a child!!
It was a fun day and I love getting to see my kids experience all these fun things!!
Our spring break started out pretty soggy! Lot’s of rain and very little sun! On Tuesday the weather cleared out and tball practice was cancelled so we took full advantage of our time and headed down to Kemah!
We had dinner, Kaden played in the water, and Grandma joined us in time to ride some rides!
Dinner with my 4 favorite people!
You mean I can get my clothes wet and NOT get in trouble?
And get my hair wet? You’ve got to be kidding
The airplanes!
Kaden was a HUGE fan of the airplanes
and might have thrown a little fit when it was time to get off
monkey see, monkey do
my sweet boys!
You think he liked it?
daddy and his princess
we ended the night with a ride on the train
we stayed up WAAY past our bedtime – which if you know me is a huge deal – but we had a blast!! What a fun beginning to our spring break!
I have several posts coming up on some of our outings during spring break! We’ve had some much needed family time and have had a great time just relaxing! Aside from our many “surprises” as Brady likes to call them we had plenty of time to do…..
a little back yard picnicking….
a little brother bonding!
a little daddy cuddling…
a little baseball playing (even if the helmet is on backwards!)
and a LOT of watching our babies smiling and laughing!
Life is good!
