brusha brusha brusha

Well, I told you last week that Brady now has 2 teeth, but that he wasn't really interested in showing them off yet. WELL, he's ready! Here it is your first glimpse at those pearly whites. And of course mommy and daddy are promoting good hygiene....if you have teeth you need to brush them!!! Our little man is going to have the prettiest smile around! And I assure you this obsession with good dental hygiene has nothing to do with the fact that I went to the dentist last week for the first time in 8 years and might have had a few cavities!!! Anyone want to guess how many?!?!?!?! We're hoping Brady doesn't get mommy's teeth.....if he does we might have to take out a second mortgage!!
Here they are! Drum roll please!
Daddy, what is Mommy doing?
hmmm, that tastes kind of good
Mom, I can do this by myself

Hippity Hoppity!

Easter's on it's way....acutally it's here, but I wanted to use hippity hoppity as the title!!! Brady had a great first Easter...the Easter Bunny paid a visit, we got dressed up and went to Church, had dinner at Grandma's and then took afternoon naps as a family! What a wonderful day! Mommy and Daddy have to go back to work tomorrow, so we're all a little sad! Hope you all had a great Easter!

Happy Birthday Julia!

We went to Julia Arnett's 1st Birthday party yesterday. It was so much fun, Brady can't wait until it's his big day and he gets to eat cake!!!!!! Julia also had a F-U-N toy...remember the sit -n-spin? There's an itty bitty version and Brady can't wait to get one of his own! Happy Birthday Julia and thank you for inviting us to your party!
Time to blow out the candles!

Yummy cake!

I heart Banana's

Banana's are yummy! We've been working on learning how to "chew" some real foods and banana's are one of our favorites. I thought the little guy looked pretty cute eating like a big boy! Don't worry I didn't really let him eat the whole thing!

We've also learned a new trick...check out the video!

Spring Break

Okay, first things first. We have a tooth...well actually we have teeth!! We started the week with our first tooth (bottom left for those of you that are interested) and ended the week with our second (bottom right!) What an exciting week for our little man! He's chewing and drooling on anything he can get his hands on! And if we're being honest...mommy's a little sad to see the tooth. My little baby will no longer have that gummy little grin....next thing I know he'll be starting Kindergarten!
This was the beginning of the week...look real close you can see the little booger! This is all we have so far. Brady's not too fired up to show it off yet!!
This was an exciting or SAD week for mommy...depending upon who you ask. I am no longer in my Twenties! Thats right folks I turned 30 on Wednesday. Jeff is glad I've finally joined him on the other side of the hill, but I kinda liked the view from the twenty something side!!!
My husband was so sweet and treated me to a night at Moody Gardens Resort complete with a Massage, nice dinner, and a rose! Maybe I'll turn 30 again next year!!!!
The catch was this was our first time to leave the little guy over night...dum dum dum. But I'm happy to report we made it. Brady never knew we were even gone thanks to Nana who agreed to come down and hang out with the little guy so we could have our night out!

On Wednesday, my actual Birthday, Jacob, Hannah, Aunt Julie, and Nana came over and brought me cupcakes that Jacob made all by himself!! Well, I think Nana might have helped a little!

Then we all went out for lunch and a little frozen yogurt. Brady loved sampling some of Mommy's yogurt! Happy Birthday to Mommy and Aunt Kim
Can someone have a birthday tomorrow too?

Happy Birthday Hannah!!

Sweet Hannah turned 1 last Sunday! You know what that means...a birthday party!! Brady loves to party! Aunt Julie and Uncle Matt went all out and got a ball pit for Hannah's big day. Needless to say, Brady enjoyed himself! We got there a little early to help set up for the party, so we snagged a few pics of the kids in the balls before it got too crowded!
Okay Hannah, one kiss but only b/c it's your birthday
NOOOOO no more Hannah...Jacob help
I tried to tell you no....women, they just don't listen Miss Priss all dressed up in her birthday tutu!
MMMMM cake!

The petting zoo

Last weekend the Simonds and the Brewers headed to the Livestock show to take in the sights! There was so much to see. Brady and Cooper got to see, and even pet baby cows, pigs, goats and lots more! They had a great time! Mommy's camera was a little low on batteries, so the pictures are limited, but we got some highlights! Cooper, Brady can't wait until next year!

Here are the boys ready to go!
uh - ohumm mom, are you seeing this bull behind me???

why is this cow staring at me?
something smells funny....
Who do we think is having more fun pretending to drive the John Deere???
My guess is Daddy!
Stay tuned this week for our first trip to the zoo!!!!

Toddler Town

Last Saturday-yes I know I'm a little behind on my blogging- Brady and I went and met Mrs. Shannon and Cooper, and Mrs. Carrie and Julia at Toddler Town-a little indoor playground. We had a BLAST! I was a little worried that Brady might be a little young and that we would spend the majority of our time watching Cooper and Julia enjoy the toys...but I was completely wrong! Brady is such a big boy and he never ceases to amaze me. Cooper and Julia we MUST go back to toddler town sometime very soon!

Look at all these colors!
These things are clean right?
GUYS...come play with me
See guys, I told you this was cool
Cooper...how did you do that?
The boys riding their toys!Who knew you could ride a fish?!?!?
Brady, Julia and Cooper hangin' at Toddler Town!
Hungry, Hungry Hippo!
I have GOT to learn to crawl soon!
Mom..Can we come back here real soon?

Teething BITES

Unless of course you have Mrs Becky who lets you eat Popsicles to soothe those aching gums!!!
Poor little Brady is having a tough time with this teething stuff, and on this particular day he would do nothing but fuss. He was sooo tired but just couldn't let it go....but give the kid a Popsicle and he goes right to sleep! Look at how sleepy those eyes are! Julie does Jacob like popsicles??????

MMMMM...

What teeth?
Just can't get enough...
Eating Popsicles puts you right to sleep!
I love Mrs. Becky
