all by myself

Karsyn has been so close to sitting up by herself for a while now, but she’s just never been able to completely balance herself for an extended period of time.  However, Monday night she got it!!!  She sat up completely unassisted for several minutes.  We still wobble a bit after a while, but she’s definitely sitting unassisted!!!  I know it may not sound like much, but for our sweet princess this is a HUGE accomplishment!  Karsyn is really  beginning to pick up speed!  Her personality is coming out in full force!  She jabbers at us constantly, mimics our sounds and noises, her vision and focusing is drastically improving AND she’s started signing for more!  We are so proud of our sweet little miracle and are in awe of all that God has done and is doing in her precious little life!  She has such a fiesty personality, but is such a laid back sweet baby!  I know a strange combination, but she rocks it!!!

We had several opportunities for group photo’s this weekend.  And actually I think we had the best “sessions” we’ve ever had.  With that said….the brewer babies still weren’t cooperating!! Poor, sweet little Kaden.  He is a bit of a mommy’s boy….and the face you see in EVERY ONE of these pictures is pretty much what you get when he’s not being held.  What a fun stage!

I know I know…I’m even disappointed in myself for that title!  Cheesy much?  Oh well, it’s the best way to describe the rest of our weekend!  The kids had a great time playing together and participating in their parents crazy Easter rituals!  We spent the day doing a hodge podge of activities.

The Easter Bunny found us

We decided to have the Easter bunny come visit Saturday morning at nana and grandanny’s house so they could play and eat candy on a day we didn’t have to put them in a car for 5 hours!!

The highlight of the boys easter basket were these silly little $1 video game things…..they played them for hours!  How cute are they in their hats, matching pj’s and games?!

The Easter bunny was VERY generous this year!!!  It always helps when the original Easter bunny is backed up by nana and grandanny’s!!!
