Surgery #6 is finally in the books!! There was a point today where Jeff and I didn’t think we would ever get there and a point where everyone on the 3rd floor of TCH wished we would hurry up and get there!!! Karsyn’s surgery was scheduled for 10 am today….so she couldn’t have anything to eat past 4:00 this morning. So we fed her at 3:45 and got to the hospital about 7:45…….she went back for surgery at 1:30. A 4 month old baby who hasn’t eaten for 9 hours is NOT a pretty sight!!! BUT, all in all she did amazing. The shunt is in and she is in recovery waiting to head up to her room.
Pray that Karsyn is comfortable tonight and that we get a little sleep!!! And pray for a discharge tomorrow!!

On a completely separate note….please keep praying for our nanny situation. We’d hired a nanny and felt really good about it…only to have her email us (today of all days) to tell us she’d accepted another positions. WOW…quit before she even started…nice huh?!?!? SO we begin again!

So thankful little Karsyn's surgery is over. I will be praying for her and you tonight. Hope you get some sleep.
Also, the pictures posted on Wednesday were ADORABLE. I especially liked the two where Kaden was talking to her about the huge flower on her head.

I met you at the soccer banquet my daughter plays. Anyway i wanted to tell you that if your looking for a nanny still i would like to talk to you about what hours etc... I have had a in home daycare for over 10yrs but all my kids have started school and i don't have any new ones and would love hours while my kids are in school ... Thanks Dana Mahan
