wait, he's already come! Santa came to see Brady a little early this year! He needed daddy's help putting together the new swing set for the backyard! It was a long process! Daddy started last Sunday...he worked ALL day, well almost all day. About 12:00 he came in and said "hey, do we have any neosporin?" - "uh why?" - "oh I scraped my hand" - "let me see".....Jeff's idea of a scrape is actually drilling through his hand. Well not completely through his hand, but about a 1/2 an inch right below his thumb. He was holding a screw and drilling and the screw broke, but the drill kept on going!
Of course the crazy man wouldn't let me take him to the doctor, so on Monday when he went to get a tetanus shot and the doctor noticed the red streaks going up his arm indicating it was completely infected, he needed 4 antibiotic shots, 2 antibiotic prescriptions, and a tetanus shot! The doctor said he was lucky he didn't hit his bone or the tendon...that would have required surgery, but that he should have gotten stitches....lesson learned - listen to your wife when she wants to take you to the ER!!!!
So, take a little time off for a bum hand and Daddy was able to finish up the swing set this weekend!! Brady LOVES it! Thank you Daddy for all your hard work!!! I LOVE YOU!!
